I've been wanting to try one, but haven't taken the plunge yet :) Thank you for leaving a lovely comment on my blog (Sewgiving) I tried replying but it says you are a non-reply blogger? I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of your swoon blocks turn out.Serena @ Sewgivinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08118431690767288942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7365133311894008279.post-51238305360080376202013-07-19T01:16:55.512+01:002013-07-19T01:16:55.512+01:00It is gorgeous...this block rocks! There's a bit of work in cutting but in terms of piecing the 4 corners are the same and the centre goes together in no time. Its a really big block finished 24" and probably a really good way to make a bed sized project quickly.

I've seen a baby quilt by Camille Roskelly with one swoon block and a large border matching the BGF which seems like a great project to try if you don't want to make the full quilt. I am asking as I was considering participating and wondering how it is? I think the background you chose really makes the colors pop!

I am stopping by from the WIP hop, my post is here if you have time to stop by :) http://domesticdeficitdisorder.blogspot.com/2013/07/wip-july-17th-edition.htmlTanyiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09224929508541591849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7365133311894008279.post-20864597807537096762013-07-17T16:15:33.272+01:002013-07-17T16:15:33.272+01:00Your block looks great!
