Lack of WIP due to Sunshine!

Finally we have sunshine in Ireland and temperatures in the 20's.
We also had a bank holiday this weekend and went to the beach so all that I got done sewing wise in the last week was to put together my Timelord block for the Doctor Who-A- Long.

I know it doesn't look the warmest from the photos - it was windy and overcast on Sunday but its been fantastic since!  We had great fun on the west cost of Clare with Wilbur and Charly - I think you can see from the photos she won the ball every time (1/4 of his size but twice as fast) but he wins for most comical runner and flappiest ears!

  1. No wonder you have good weather in Ireland since we have all the rain and flooding in Central Europe! ;)
Looks like you and your dogs had fun at the beach!

    1. Seems like spring in Ireland is getting colder and summer in Europe getting wetter. Odd weather. Hope its not too bad where you are in Austria.

    1. I love Sarah Fielke - her class was great and one of my favourite books is Camille Roskell's Simplify. I've signed up for inset and applique circles hoping it will help me with my suns in orbit project!

    1. Hi Aoife, you know yourself as soon as there is a hint of a blue sky the flip-flops come out! Have to make the most of it while we can. It's the Doctor's 50th anniversary this year so paper piecing 2 blocks a month and a stitch-a-long have started on flickr @ http://www.flickr.com/groups/2183212@N20/
