Hello Wilbur - want to go for a walk?
Yes I know its 30 degrees out there.
Ok you think about it for a minute then.
No?
Okay then maybe I'll go and finish a quilt instead.
Yaaaay. Bounce is finally done. This took longer than expected but I couldn't be happier with the result. Pattern is Miss Rosies Quilt Co. and fabric is Coquette by Moda. Just have to wash and dry it for Gordon's auntie Maura. Can't wait to give it to her!Linking up to
and Finish it up Friday
Gorgeous! I love Moda and this line was the perfect choice. That staggered border is just fab.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I really really like the outer border. All those rectangles at different heights and lengths, just looks brilliant!

ReplyDeletevery pretty! I love the pieced border!
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks so much for all your lovely comments. They are very much appreciated. Background fabric is Kona Snow and I used 30 layer cake squares for the whole thing including the border. Very versatile pattern and great fun!
ReplyDeleteThose are such pretty stars :) Don't you enjoy working with layer cakes?
ReplyDeleteI love that quilt! The pattern and the colors are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhere you have a Wilbur, I have a George, though at 11 years old, I think he is older than Wilbur. Until you've owned a Bassett, you don't realise how many decisions they need to think about....which all takes time! Trying to get George out in the rain is IMPOSSIBLE!!! Love the quilt too!! x

ReplyDeleteLove stars - and this color palette is gorgeous. Pinned it.
DeleteWilbur would not like where I live. My dog and I live by the following rules: no morning hour-long walk if it is raining or hotter than 25 degrees at 6 am, and no afternoon play in the park if it is raining or hotter than 35 degrees at 6 pm.
